Changdeok Palace (Except Mondays) – a true gem of Seoul’s royal heritage

Known for its graceful architecture and connection to nature, Changdeok Palace was designed with harmony in mind, seamlessly blending its stately buildings with the surrounding landscape.

Walking through its impressive gates and along stone paths, you’ll find yourself immersed in Korea’s royal history. Each hall and courtyard has its own story to tell, showcasing traditional designs that have been preserved over centuries. It’s easy to imagine the lives of the kings and queens who once called this place home.
